The deafening screams of the 48,000-strong crowd said it all as the first night of Take That’s Progress Live tour hit Villa Park.
Take That consist of 5 members, lead vocals coming from Gary Barlow, and joined by Mark Owen, Jason Orange (my personal favourite), Howard Donald and Robbie Williams (he decided to come back!) From boyband to manband, the guys have done nothing but gain more support and they are continuing to be successful.

Take That were in Birmingham recently, this time joined by Robbie, and I went along to see the concert at Villa Park. Although they may not be everybody’s favourite when it comes to music, they definitely put on a good show with a major stage. Some of their previous concerts have included a massive moving Elephant and flashing globes. This time it was a giant robotic man with mechanical arms and legs, not forgetting the towering wall of water, which Take That hung off, singing whilst being upside down, now that is impressive.

This tour was slightly different as for the first time in 15 years Robbie was with them, the concert varied playing their old music from when they first got together, then a few hits from Robbies solo career, to their come back as a 4 piece and more recently songs from the latest album Progress.

The banter between the guys and Robbie’s outspoken ways made the concert more enjoyable, they had everyone laughing, singing and dancing along.
