‘The Sound of Arrows’ is a Swedish electronic music group consisting of Oskar Gullstrand and Stefan Storm, both from Gävle, Sweden. The band’s song ‘Into the Clouds’, was among the most downloaded songs in the United Kingdom for the week of 20^th September 2009. This song ‘M.A.G.I.C.’, was used in a television commercial for the Mitsubishi Outlander vehicle by Mitsubishi Motors. ‘The Sound of Arrows’ has been considered similar to English electronic dance music duo ‘Pet Shop Boys’ and they have also been called “more heavenly Swedish dream-pop”.

The track has a very happy and energetic feel to it;  it may not really fit in with the genres of music that today’s youth may listen to as it is almost one of those songs that you will hear in a theme park such as Alton Towers or Drayton Manor. It can sound like the type of song that you would join in with when a choir sings! The track has some elements of electronic music, which would be different from what today’s generation would listen to. Overall, it is the type of song that you would listen to in your childhood and not at an older age.

Their first full album “Voyage” will debut on November 7th, 2011.
