The Latin pop star Jennifer Lopez (J Lo) dominated the dance chart in the early 2000’s, including the well known hits ‘Jenny from the Block’ and ‘Waiting Tonight’.  Now she is back at 41 with her new album ‘Love’, with her music exploring various elements of love from different angles. The theme of love is universal and in life we all love someone. For example, in the track ‘What is Love?’ she uses the line ‘I wanna be somebody’s girl’. J Lo questions the meaning of love in this song and she sings about all types of guys she has dated. The track, ‘One Love’, deals with J Lo’s past and present romances, and tries to answer the questions of whether there is such a thing as a one true love. The album, in some aspects, deals with Jennifer Lopez’s history of love, and this is what I like about the album. It presents the true meaning of love. My favorite song on the album is the first track, ‘On the Floor’ feat. Pitbull. The song is really catchy and is a dance floor anthem that I enjoy listening to, especially when I’m in a club as the track is made for that!
