There are no words to describe the experience of James Cameron’s Avatar, especially when you see it at the IMAX. In 3D, Avatar is already amazing but with the larger screen at the IMAX cinema at Millennium Point in Birmingham, it makes the experience that much more real and vivid. Every detail seems so much more colourful and authentic. It transports you into the world of Avatars. It may have taken fourteen years to make this film but it is worth seeing it, especially at the IMAX. The experience is genuinely different as I have seen it both at the IMAX in 3D and at AMC cinema, and it was ten times better at the IMAX. It’s as though this film was meant to be seen there, so get yourself along for the IMAX experience – it’s worth every penny. Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland is also currently showing at IMAX in 3D.
