Glass Houses is the first of the Morganville vampire series written by the author Rachel Caine. The book is based around a girl named Claire, who has come to Morganville to study at University – unaware of the fact that the whole town is controlled by vampires and stepping out of line could get you killed.

The book deals with teenage issues, making friends, as well as enemies, boys and homework.  But it also has a paranormal mystery that will entertain you and has twists and turns that will definitely keep you reading until the end of the book. Glass Houses has a cliff hanger ending, which leaves you anxious to read the next book.

The book was a very enjoyable read, full of mystery, the supernatural and normal everyday problems. So I’m going to give this book a 5 star rating.
