Eminem is back, along with Royce da 5’9” in their hip-hop duo, Bad Meets Evil, with their EP, titled ‘Hell The Sequel’.

Track listing:
1. ‘Welcome 2 Hell’
2. ‘Fast Lane’
3. ‘The Reunion’
4. ‘Above the Law’
5. ‘I’m on Everything’ (featuring Mike Epps)
6. ‘A Kiss’
7. ‘Lighters’ (featuring Bruno Mars)
8. ‘Take from Me’
9. ‘Loud Noises’ (featuring Slaughterhouse)

Most of the tracks on the album involve Eminem and Royce da 5’9” exchanging rhymes/lyrics back and forth to one another. The chemistry that they have together on the album is quite obvious. Such songs include ‘Fast Lane’ and ‘I’m on Everything’. Both artists complement each other equally, as they both have a similar flow, which is reminiscent of the old Eminem we heard in his older tracks and albums.

Most of the tracks are similar to Eminem’s older ways, however, the single ‘Lighters’ doesn’t comply. The song features Bruno Mars, who sings the chorus. I think that the track feels out of place on the album and is aimed towards more of the pop genre; however, Eminem still carries the verses well. The track isn’t as controversial as the others on the EP, or as controversial as Eminem’s older material.

Personally, I believe the best tracks on the EP are ‘Fast Lane’, ‘Above the Law’ and ‘I’m on Everything’, as the chemistry between Eminem and Royce da 5’9” creates a better overall sound and rhythm. Eminem is back to his older, faster and more lyrically advanced ways, and Royce da 5’9” is equally as good in most of the tracks, if not, better in some verses.
