On 28th January 2011, it was announced that Dionne Bromfield has recorded a new single called ‘Yeah Right’, co-written with Eg White, featuring Diggy Simmons. The single, released as a digital download on March 4th peaked at number 36 in the UK Singles Chart, is the lead single from her upcoming second album Good for the Soul, which was set to be released on 27th June 2011. The album is composed of completely original material, written by Bromfield and many other song writers. A second single featuring Lil Twist, ‘Foolin’” was due to be released on 17th June.

15 year old Dionne Bromfield is a British Soul singer. Her debut album, Introducing Dionne Bromfield was released in 2009 through Amy Winehouse’s Lioness Records label. She is known for her unique style of music, for her age, but says that Motown is her style. She rose to fame after appearing on a well-known British TV show, Strictly Come Dancing.

Dionne has appeared on shows such as Blue Peter, Fern and more. She is currently hosting a show on YouTube with Will Manning called ‘Down With Dionne’. The show takes place and is uploaded every Friday.

It was announced that she will be presenting a new, upcoming show called The Friday Download on CBBC which premiers on the 6th May to 5th August. It will be a 13 part series talking about themes such as music, dance, TV, comedy, movies and lifestyle.
