Twist and Pulse are a Street Dance duo from South London performing Streetomedy, there unique style. They were the runner-up of Britain’s Got Talent 2010, losing out to Spelbound.

Twist (Ashley Glazebrook) and Pulse (Glen Murphy) met at the Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology, where they both were studying a BTEC National Diploma in Dance. They quickly became friends and found they shared a very close sense of humour, which was brought out through their style of dance. We spoke to the boys about life after Britain’s Got Talent and what the future holds for them.

Names, age & random fact
Ashley. 19. I eat cereal with no milk.
Glen. 20. My random fact is that I don’t have one.

What would I find in your fridge?
You would probably find some cheese, some ham, some butter, milk and some frubes! Because they’re sooooo nice.

What has life been like since Britain’s Got Talent?
It’s been really good; we have just been enjoying it at the moment. We’ve been performing everywhere and anywhere everyday. It’s just been really nice.

What’s the best place you’ve performed and why?
Erm, let me think about that one… it was a festival! It was in Tamworth (Midlands Music Festival) it was really good, there were like 20,000 people and we were like yeahh!

If Britain’s Got Talent didn’t happen, what do you think you would be doing now?
Ashley – I would be at dance university.
Glen – I would be teaching dance in schools, I used to do that before too.

What can we expect from you in the future?
You can expect a UK your, a Twist & Pulse tour that will attack your doorstep. You can come, we’ll send you tickets. You better be in the front row!

What would you say you dislike the most and why?
Ashley – I hate cucumber because it is absolutely disgusting, I don’t see how people can like it!
Glen – I hate nuts! Eeew, they’re just nasty!

What do you do with your days off?
We go shopping and we go to Nando’s.  We eat and we shop, then eat and shop some more. And then we dance too.

Who influences you?
We would say Michael Jackson because he had that one dream and he fought for it. He inspires loads of people and everyone wants to achieve his popularity. He was the king. He could do everything.

If you could trade places with anyone for a week, who would it be and why?
Justin Bieber, because he has world domination. We want to achieve that soon!

Where do you hope to see yourself in 5 years time?
We hope to still be dancing together, we’ll have a Twist & Pulse world tour coming up, Twist & Pulse mania. Basically we want everything we can possible achieve!
