For the first time ever I went on a canal trip on a narrow boat. It was such a different and interesting experience as it is something that I would not normally think of doing. I went with a group and we all helped to move the boat and drive it. First we travelled from Stourport to Worcester and we stayed the night at Worcester. The journey was long but I enjoyed watching the scenery at different places. Then in the evening we went for a meal and walked around Worcester town which was nice seeing something different from Birmingham.

The next day we headed to Droitwich and went to the new canal that was open on the weekend. On the way to Droitwich it was hard as we had loads of locks to get though. We then went out of the village stayed by a pub and had a meal there. The final stay we set back home and made a way to Maypole. I think the final day was the hardest and longest day as there were 20 locks to go through and overall we had 80 locks in total from Worcester to back home.
