Never Say Never is an upcoming 2011 3-D Documentary centering on the singer Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber is already one of the biggest stars in the world and this documentary shows his rise while giving us backstage passes to his sell-out tour. Justin started by posting videos on Youtube. He was soon discovered and landed in to the world of stardom. Never Say Never looks at the impact of those early videos – as well as some great footage of him performing at his sell out tour – and takes us with the pop sensation on his first concert tour. This is an unmissable experience, with plenty of guest appearances from his fellow celebrities such as Usher, Miley Cyrus and Jaden Smith. Justin Bieber and film director Jon Chu say their new documentary aims to show the star is just a “regular 16-year-old”. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never is released in the UK on 18th February.

The first step towards his success began when he entered a local singing competition at the age of 12, he came second. To share his success and talent he began posting videos of his performances on YouTube. He ended up with over 10 million views of his performances. He was discovered by Scooter Braun, a former marketing executive for So So Def when he was only 13. He was flown to Atlanta to meet superstar R&B singer Usher. He also ended up meeting with Justin Timberlake.

In October 2008, he took the deal offered by Usher and signed to Island Records he headed and started recording his debut album My World with backup vocals from Usher on at least one track. His first single “One Time” was released in July 2009 and began climbing the pop singles chart in the US and Canada, and across the Atlantic here in the UK.

He was selected to be a presenter at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The album My World was released November 17, 2009 and debuted at number 6 on the album chart. Eventually My World peaked at number 3 in the UK the following spring. It produced four top 40 pop singles. The single “Baby” featuring Ludacris hit at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2010, and number 3 in the UK. It has gone on to become the most viewed video on YouTube ever, gaining more than 425 million views and counting.

My World 2.0 hit stores in March 2010 and debuted at number1 on the chart. That made 16 year old Justin Bieber the youngest solo male to hit number 1 since 13 year old Stevie Wonder in 1963 in the US.

The MTV Video Music Awards named him Best New Artist. In November, Justin Bieber was the big winner at the American Music Awards taking home four honours including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. The Grammy Awards named him one of the nominees for Best New Artist in December 2010. The day after Thanksgiving 2010 Justin Bieber released the album My Worlds Acoustic to share stripped down versions of his songs.
