On the 16th July 2011, in Hanley Park, Stoke on Trent, ‘2011 Live’ took place and despite the weather, it was an amazing day which everybody thoroughly enjoyed.
Many people from all over England woke up early on Saturday to make their way down to Stoke on Trent in the rain. Many people went down to show their true loyalty to the performers, which were amazing acts such as Tinchy Stryder, who if it wasn’t already raining, blew up a storm while performing his chart topping singles such as ‘Number 1′, ‘Take me back’ and ‘Spaceship’.
Pixie Lott also returned with her new single ‘All About Tonight’ which seemed successful with the audience, as they screamed her name, excited that the 20 year old singer was back Another person performing was Nicola Roberts, who after Girls Aloud, came out with a new single ‘Beat of My Drum’, and another few songs. She was hugely successful with many fans with posters saying ‘Team Ginger.’ After the concert she took time to meet her fans, me being one of them!
Other acts also met their fans, and I also managed to catch up with some of the members of ‘Parade’, a new upcoming band who have already have hits with ‘Louder’ and ‘Perfume’. All of the people I met said that they really enjoyed the concert and Nicola Roberts said it felt “unreal to perform to a crowd of 20,000 people.” Other upcoming acts, such as ‘Loick Essien’, ‘SixD’, ‘Oh my!’, ‘Talay Riley’, ‘Ivy rise’ and ‘Leddra Chapman’ performed, of which all went well.

All performances were amazing, and with burger stands, a fair, and a few other stands, the day was one, not only I, but 20,000 people will remember!
